Two front pleats add style and comfort, while the elasticated drawstring waist lets you dial in the fit. Relaxed and lightweight - perfect for the warmer days to come.

These are SO beautifully made with a really robust quality feel. I love the texture and weave of the fabric. They really feel built to last. I sized up (S instead of XS) because i wanted a roomier fit and a low waist because my particular sensory need is a flat waistband that hangs on my hip bones. So i was a bit concerned about the elastic and gathered fabric. For me the two elastics (internal waistband flat elastic plus black adjustable draw cord ) is more than i need. My personal preference would be a lighter/softer/ less rigid (ie looser) inner elastic with the black toggle for adjustment/back up. But i appreciate that's very personal. The pockets are SUPER generous and roomy which i love but i have found that they hang below the hem with my phone in the pocket. But overall they're a gorgeous find. Thank you!

size up if you have wide hips

like several reviews cautioned, if you want the oversized baggy look like the models then size up.

my measurements are 29/30” waist and 42” hips and i bought a medium for full transparency. the waist and legs fit great, but i find that the fabric bunches up in the crotch bc my hips are wider. however, i will say the fabric did break in the more i wore them; loosening more around the hips and looking more lived in. the photo i attached is how they fit after about 2-3 days or wear.

the shorts are still not as baggy as i hoped, but i’m not going to return them bc i’m all the way in the US and they’re cute enough that i feel like i got my moneys worth. other than the fit, the struction and fabric quality is phenomenal and i love supporting real ethical companies :-) i’d give these more of a 4.5 if given the option.

Short exactly as you would expect and as described.

Sizing is a little off!

As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, I would really really recommend going up one size. I did my hips/waist measurement and I squarely fit in the S size but in reality the elastic kind of digs into my waist and it wasn't a super comfortable fit. The returns process was super smooth so I'm just waiting on the M size to arrive now.
